PSYPOOL Records is a Swiss🇨🇭 Psytrance label founded in 2023. Our vision is to release carefully selected, high-quality Psytrance music that combines energy, depth and precision - a sonic experience designed to awaken consciousness as much as to ignite the dancefloor.

Born from the idea of creative independence, PSYPOOL Records has evolved into a professional label with a strong curatorial approach. Each release is hand-picked, mastered with care, and crafted to carry a distinct signature - organic, powerful, and timeless.

The label’s core acts - DRUIDIUM, PROTOBASE, and their collaborative project PROTONIUM - form the heart of the imprint. Alongside these, PSYPOOL Records Switzerland welcomes a limited selection of guest artists whose work resonates with our energetic sound philosophy and artistic integrity.

We stand for authentic Psytrance music - no compromises, no trends, no formulas - pure frequencies with psychedelic depth.

■ DEMO POLICY
We’re open to hearing new artists - but only those who truly fit the label’s identity. If your music reflects authenticity, precision and frequency depth, feel free to submit your demo (private SoundCloud or download link) via our contact form.

Note / Please include:
• WAV or AIFF file format only
• artist name and short bio
• link(s) to previous releases (if any)
• one to two finished tracks (no work-in-progress)

Due to the high number of submissions, we reserve the right not to respond to every enquiry.

MIXDOWN Service by PROTOBASE (Ralf Dietze)

I take care of the Mixdown – the final and crucial step before your track goes into mastering. As a certified Sound Designer, former member of Protonica, and founder of the projects Protobase and Protonium, I bring many years of professional experience in electronic music production.

■ Preferred genres:
Psytrance, Progressive Psytrance (other genres on request).

■ What’s included in the Mixdown
- Gain Staging: Adjusting each track’s volume for a balanced mix.
- Volume Automation when needed.
- Use of Effects (Delay / Reverb): Subtle effects for depth and space.
- Panning Correction: Fixing stereo image or L/R balance issues.
- Frequency Editing: Removing disturbing or overlapping frequencies.
- Low-End Optimization: Tightening Kick & Bass interaction.
- Frequency Masking: Separating conflicting elements.
- Mid/Side Processing: Clear and wide stereo image.
- Dynamic Processing: Compression, balance & headroom.
- Clipping Correction: As far as technically possible.

■ What’s NOT included
- Overdriven or distorted tracks cannot be repaired.
- Wrong tonalities or harmonies will not be corrected.
- No new sounds will be added or replaced.

■ What I need from you
- Information about your main hookline and key elements.
- Details on which tracks were intentionally panned (left/right).
- All tracks (stems) exported separately in WAV format (24 or 32 bit) with your original sample rate (e.g. 44.1 kHz).
- A short direct contact (WhatsApp or Signal) for quick feedback if needed.

■ Note
A high-quality mixdown can only be achieved if the source material is of good quality. If the stems are too noisy, distorted, or incomplete, a professional result cannot be guaranteed.

■ Pricing
Pricing depends on the quality and complexity of your material. An official invoice will be provided.

Option 1: Mixdown Package (approx. 2 to 4 and 4 to 8 days)
• 2 to 4 days: 420 CHF / about 450 €
• 4 to 8 days: 650 CHF / about 700 €

Option 2: Hourly Rate
- 28 CHF / 30 € per hour (started)
